Senior Hotel Operations Manager

Our client, a luxury hospitality establishment in the heart of San Diego, California, US , is seeking an accomplished Senior Hotel Operations Manager. This executive role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and achieving optimal financial performance. You will lead and inspire a diverse team across various departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services, fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of hotel operations, exceptional leadership qualities, and a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, managing budgets and controlling costs, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and brand standards, and driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives. You will work closely with department heads to set performance goals, provide guidance and training, and resolve complex operational challenges. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering an unparalleled guest experience. You will be instrumental in maintaining the hotel's reputation for outstanding service and quality. A deep understanding of revenue management, sales, and marketing principles is also beneficial. The ability to analyze operational data and translate it into actionable insights is key. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in hotel operations management, is required. Experience in a luxury hotel environment is highly preferred.
