Our client operates a collection of uniquely designed, high-end hotels, and they are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to lead one of their flagship properties in the heart of Birmingham, West Midlands, UK . This role is integral to delivering an exceptional guest experience, driving operational excellence, and maintaining the distinctive brand identity of the hotel.
As the Boutique Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest relations. You will manage a diverse team, foster a positive work environment, and ensure the highest standards of service are consistently met. Your leadership will be key to driving revenue, controlling costs, and maximizing guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless service delivery across all departments. Manage, train, and motivate a team of hospitality professionals to achieve high performance. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Manage the hotel's budget, P&L, and operational costs effectively. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Maintain the unique aesthetic and operational standards of the boutique hotel. Drive sales and marketing efforts to attract and retain guests. Build strong relationships with local businesses and community stakeholders. Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews. Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of hotel performance metrics. Collaborate with regional management on strategic initiatives.
Proven experience in hotel management, preferably in a boutique or luxury setting. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs. In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including F&B, housekeeping, and front office. Passion for delivering exceptional guest service. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Experience with hotel management software (PMS). A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A creative flair and understanding of luxury market trends.
