JOB DESCRIPTION:
Should be able to carry on his job nicely and intelligently like checking the room key against the key cards before leaving the Front Desk to escort the guest to his/her room.
Bring assigned vehicle to undergo annual inspection or repair when required.
Maintain the vehicle in clean condition and keep proper record of the service schedules.
Must be able to describe food facilities, hours of food and beverage outlets, explain various services that are available in the hotel, particularly the laundry and valet services with their time of pick-ups and deliveries.
Must be well informed about the daily and forthcoming functions, events and activities in the hotel and see to it any posted activities have the right information and spelt correctly.
Should know the emergency procedures of the hotel, procedures on lost luggage and to always have a VIP Arrival List to carry out a complete and professional service to the guests.
Should have a thorough and keen knowledge of guest check- out procedures.
Emphasize on good appearance, adequate supply of clean and well-pressed uniform always. The Bellman/Driver work area should be always kept neat and clean.
Highlight all problems that require Management’s decision to the Front Office Manager.
Transport guest’s luggage to and from the guest’s room in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring that no damage is done to the luggage.
Deliver messages within the hotel premises promptly.
Keep the lobby floors, doors, and ashtrays immaculately clean always.
Follow the laid down procedures in storing guest’s luggage
and other guest belongings.
To tour guests within the hotel premises as instructed by Supervisor.
Run errands, morning calls and carry luggage on room transfer.
Reports to the Duty Manager any unusual incidents occurring in the lobby and floor areas.
Do not disclose hotel information without the Hotel’s Management written consent during the period of your employment with the Hotel.
To perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum SPM / Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of front desk or guest service experience preferred.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.
Energetic, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for people and service.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
