Job Description

Our client, a prominent aerospace company, is actively seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician for their facility in Richmond, British Columbia, CA . This role is essential for ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and operational readiness of our fleet. The successful candidate will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of aircraft. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of aviation regulations and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft structures, engines, and systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, following technical manuals and specifications. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections as required. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed, including parts used and time spent. Interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance instructions. Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company policies. Work effectively with a team of technicians to complete maintenance tasks efficiently. Respond to aircraft on-ground (AOG) situations and perform necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure proper tool accountability. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a recognized aircraft maintenance technician program is highly desirable. Possession of an AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) M1 or M2 license, or equivalent regulatory certification, is strongly preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably on commercial or regional aircraft. In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, engines). Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various environmental conditions.
