Worley is seeking a Quality Control Lead to join our Quality team.
The Quality Control Inspector Lead provides construction quality on site and off site for work performed by Worley and all Worley sub-contractors.
Responsibilities
Develop and administer project specific Quality Plans
Ensure procedures and processes are in place and understood
Support the construction team
Oversee the development of ITP’s
Provide site Worley management weekly/monthly Quality progress report to present to client, weekly/monthly Quality report to Project Quality Management, guidance and support to QC team on site and at mod yard, training as required for personnel, monthly MPRD report on Quality to Project Manager.
Responsibility for turnover requirements to client
Involved in audits, initiation/ generating RFI’s,
Ensure NCR’s and CAR’s are completed and closed.
Monitor inspectors daily work activities, document control daily activities
Review documentation for turnover
NCR’s to be input into client Project Technical Reports reporting structure
Hydrotest package generation
Review and understand client specifications
Oversee departments within the Quality scope (Document Control, Material Shipping and Receiving, Sub- Contract management, Turnover, Completions, Care and Preservation, Costing and Payment Milestones)
Required to perform inspections
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Maintain Quality documentation and programs
Maintain and update QC files and drawings with new revisions
Creating and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans
Read Isometric and Engineered Drawings
Understanding of welding processes
Ability to use inspection tools
Ability to Read Codes
Understanding of Jurisdictional Authority of requirements
Related experience in Industrial Oil & Gas Mechanical Construction Quality Control Systems
Knowledge of NDE processes, ASME Codes (ASME Section I, II, V, VIII, & IX) and Provincial Regulations and their applications to piping fabrication and Pressure Equipment
Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques
CSA 178.2 Certified Welding Inspector Level 2
ASME B31.3 Code Endorsement
CSA W47.1/W59 Code Endorsement
MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
Interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal
Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management
Excellent organizational skills
Must be a self- starter, motivated and perform well in high-pressure environments
