We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Commercial as Site Inspection & Drywall Installation Demonstrator – GCC.
The Site Inspection & Installation Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring correct installation, system compliance, and best practice application of Knauf gypsum systems across projects in the GCC. The role combines on‑site inspections, installer training, and technical support, acting as a critical link between Knauf specifications, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Site Inspections & Technical Compliance
Conduct regular site inspections for drywall, ceiling, shaftwall, and related gypsum systems.
Verify compliance with Knauf specifications, approved method statements, drawings, and international standards.
Identify installation gaps, non‑conformities, and risks, issue clear corrective action reports.
Support project teams in resolving site technical issues related to systems performance, detailing, and workmanship.
Document inspection findings with photos, reports, and recommendations.
Installation Training & Capability Building
Deliver hands‑on installation trainings for contractors, applicators, and installers (on‑site or at Knauf Training Center).
Conduct toolbox talks, mock‑ups, and live demonstrations for gypsum systems.
Develop and adapt training materials (presentations, manuals, checklists) aligned with Knauf standards.
Support certification or installer approval programs where applicable.
Actively raise installation quality awareness across the market.
Support internal teams with the installation of fire and acoustic tests.
Technical Support & Stakeholder Coordination
Serve as a technical interface between site teams, sales, specification, and technical departments.
Support consultants and contractors with system clarifications, detailing advice, and buildability input.
Assist in pre‑installation meetings, method statement reviews, and system selection discussions.
Provide feedback from site to product management and technical teams on recurring issues and market needs.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain structured site inspection logs, training records, and action tracking.
Prepare summary reports highlighting common defects, root causes, and improvement actions.
Ensure all activities are aligned with Knauf quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
What we’d love for you to have:
5+ years of experience in the gypsum / drywall / lightweight construction industry.
Strong hands‑on knowledge of drywall systems, suspended ceilings, shaftwall & fire‑rated systems and acoustic solutions.
Solid understanding of installation methods, accessories, fixings, and detailing.
Familiarity with GCC construction practices and site environments.
Familiarity with local construction standards.
Strong site presence and communication skills – confident with contractors and installers.
Ability to train, explain, and demonstrate technical concepts clearly.
Practical, solution‑oriented mindset with attention to detail.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Comfortable working independently across multiple projects and locations.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Valid UAE driving license.
Predominantly UAE based with frequent site visits across GCC countries.
