QC Inspector Welding

Conduct thorough inspections of welding processes and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.Utilize advanced non-destructive testing techniques, such as ultrasonic and radiographic testing, to assess weld integrity and detect defects.Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation to communicate findings and ensure traceability of quality control processes.Collaborate closely with welding engineers and technicians to address any discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly. A degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field is highly preferred to ensure a strong technical foundation.Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent are essential to validate expertise in the field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in welding inspection, specifically within the oil and gas, construction, or manufacturing industries, is required.Proven experience with various welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, to understand their unique inspection requirements.
