Road Inspector

About the Role

We are looking for Road Inspectors to support a government project involving inspection of roads and road-related facilities using AI and video analytics systems.

The role involves conducting inspections on live roads, identifying defects, and ensuring timely reporting for maintenance actions.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct road inspections using designated inspection vehicles

• Identify defects such as:Potholes, cracks, damaged kerbs, manholes

Faded road markings, guardrails, signage issues

• Capture clear photos/videos of defects with location tagging

• Validate AI-detected defects and ensure reporting accuracy

• Classify defects (urgent / non-urgent) and escalate accordingly

• Assist in emergency situations and implement on-site safety measures

• Coordinate with operations team and supervisors

• Ensure daily inspection targets and reporting requirements are met
  Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience (inspection / site / operations preferred)

• Basic knowledge of roads / construction / facilities is an advantage

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and on live roads

• Able to work independently and follow schedules

• Basic IT knowledge (mobile apps / reporting systems)

• Possess Class 3 driving licence (preferred)
