Construction Inspector Aide

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Join us as a Construction Inspector Aide and support our team in ensuring the quality and compliance of transportation projects in the Tallahassee, Marianna, Chipley, or Panama City, Florida market area.

We are looking for dedicated individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent who are eager to learn and contribute to our projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine and standardized inspections of construction processes and materials to ensure compliance with contracts.

• Performing essential calculations, computations, and field measurements of pay item quantities.

• Assisting in contract administration for transportation projects and working closely with the Senior Inspector to achieve client satisfaction.

• Maintaining daily project diaries and conducting simple materials sampling, inspections, and testing.

Qualifications we are seeking:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong organizational, communication, math, and computer skills.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, contract provisions, and inspection procedures.

• Availability to work nights and weekends and to travel out of town as necessary.

• Commitment to applying safety standards and procedures.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening.

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
