About The Role
What if your systems programming expertise could directly shape the infrastructure powering the world's most advanced AI models? We're looking for Senior C++ Engineers to design and build the high-performance data pipelines, annotation tooling, and evaluation systems that leading AI labs depend on to train and improve next-generation AI.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role for engineers who write clean, fast, production-grade C++ and want to work on problems that genuinely matter.

What You'll Do
Design, build, and optimize high-performance C++ systems supporting large-scale AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows
Develop full-stack tooling and backend services for data annotation, validation, and quality control
Improve reliability, performance, and memory safety across existing production C++ codebases
Identify bottlenecks and edge cases in system and data behavior — then implement scalable, production-ready fixes
Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to accelerate model training and evaluation
Participate in synchronous design reviews to iterate on architecture and implementation decisions
Who You Are
Full-stack developer with a strong systems programming background
3–5+ years of professional experience writing production C++, with a focus on modern standards (C++17 or C++20)
Deep familiarity with performance optimization, concurrency (threading, atomics), and memory safety (RAII, smart pointers, sanitizers)
Native or fluent English speaker with clear written and verbal communication skills
Able to commit 20–40 hours per week with professional reliability
Self-directed and effective when working independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data quality systems, or evaluation pipelines
Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, model training, or benchmarking infrastructure
Experience with distributed systems or developer tooling
Exposure to working with research teams or in fast-moving technical environments
