About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior System Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing and implementing AI infrastructure solutions for the manufacturing industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing AI infrastructure solutions for the manufacturing industry, leveraging expertise in data science, engineering, and IT.

• Providing 2nd level support for AI services and related solutions, ensuring seamless operation and meeting customer SLAs.

• Collaborating with data scientists, administrators, business analysts, and architects on production systems and applications, promoting efficiency of operational support.

• Defining and setting up effective systems for fault detection and monitoring, enabling early pro-active failure detection for system stability.

• Executing software and technology refresh activities, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

• Contribution to the development of EPIC/User stories for scaling and deployment of existing AI solutions to other sites in the global manufacturing cluster.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A minimum Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.

• A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in solutions focusing on manufacturing execution systems.

• Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of its challenges and opportunities.

• Good knowledge in data transfer, file processing methodology, system interfaces/integration, and ability to apply it effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Solid knowledge and skills in application service operation (incident, problem, event, and release management).

• High analytical and independent problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach new challenges with confidence.

• Hands-on experience in database systems, including Oracle, MS-SQL, and Hadoop.

• Programming knowledge in C#.net, scripting, Python, Java, and Oracle PL/SQL.

• A good understanding of Agile methodology is an advantage.
