Position Title: AI Model Engineer

Job Description:

The AI Model Engineer will play a crucial role in analyzing and modeling organizational data for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) function. This position focuses on deriving valuable business insights to inform strategic decisions.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Utilize data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques to integrate large datasets from diverse sources.

• Develop and refine strategies for Large Language Model (LLM) development, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

• Create a comprehensive roadmap for Natural Language Processing (NLP), LLM, and Generative AI model development.

• Design and build custom machine learning, Generative AI, and NLP models for batch and streaming processing, focusing on data ingestion, preprocessing, retrieval, and ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.

• Collaborate with MLOps teams to maintain robust evaluation tools for assessing model performance and reliability throughout development and user acceptance testing.

• Implement model optimizations to enhance system performance.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and software engineering, to ensure seamless integration and operational reliability of machine learning models.

• Adhere to established standards and governance practices in machine learning model development.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related discipline, along with 4 or more years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• Expertise in Python programming.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience working with structured and unstructured data, applying ML, NLP, and computer vision techniques.

• Strong proficiency with tools such as Python, SQL, Hugging Face, Tensor

Flow, Keras, Py

Torch, and Spark.

• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.

• Solid understanding and experience in developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions.

• Experienced in optimizing prompts for various NLP applications.

• Exceptional written, verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• 4+ years of project leadership experience, particularly in Agile methodologies and frameworks.

• Familiarity with LLM infrastructure and deployment strategies, including GPU memory optimization and caching techniques.

• Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies (AWS EKS/ECS, GCP GKE, Azure AKS).

• Experience with containerization and deployment strategies for ML workloads.
