Senior Data Scientist

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Clearance Required: Top Secret (active)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will lead data-driven initiatives to provide actionable insights and support mission-critical operations. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to solve complex challenges within the defense and security sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced data models, algorithms, and machine learning solutions to support strategic objectives.

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights to drive decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, to define and solve high-priority problems.

• Develop and optimize predictive models, natural language processing (NLP) algorithms, and other machine learning frameworks.

• Perform data wrangling, cleaning, and preprocessing to ensure the highest quality data for analysis.

• Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, providing clear, actionable insights.

• Maintain and develop best practices for data science workflows and tools.

• Mentor junior data scientists and provide leadership on advanced analytics techniques.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).

• 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.

• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning algorithms.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., Tensor

Flow, Keras, Py

Torch, Scikit-learn).

• Expertise in big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure).

• Experience working with complex datasets, including unstructured data (text, images, etc.).

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to senior leadership.

• Active Top Secret security clearance required

Preferred:

• Experience with defense, intelligence, or security-related projects.

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and distributed computing environments.

• Advanced certifications or training in machine learning, AI, or data science.

• Experience working in an Agile environment or leading teams in collaborative settings.
