Business Analyst - AML:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - AML for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst - AML - Job Description:

The role involves supporting Business As Usual (BAU) operations and utilizing PowerBI for data analytics and reporting. The project focuses on transaction monitoring and potential process automation within the capital markets environment.

Business Analyst - AML - Responsibilities:

• Provide 50% BAU support by reaching out to colleagues for documents and follow-up tasks

• Maintain detailed documentation and perform investigative work

• Utilize PowerBI for data analytics and reporting, bridging gaps with data analytics and reporting

• Assist in automating processes and presenting data in Excel

• Collaborate with internal employees for BAU work

Business Analyst - AML - Mandatory Skills:

• BAU functions and remediation

• Detail-oriented documentation, report writing, and investigative work

• Audit experience

• PowerBI/Data Analytics

• Capital Markets/Securities knowledge

• Good communication skills

Business Analyst - AML – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in a financial institution

• Brokerage knowledge

• Understanding of basic securities types

• Strong interpersonal skills

Business Analyst - AML – Assignment Length:

This is a contract position ending in October 2026.
