The group is now entering the ports and infrastructure sector, aiming to build a strategic presence in port concessions through the DBFOT model.
Role Objective To lead Megamonts ports & infrastructure vertical from inception to execution, by: Securing port concessions through competitive bidding Structuring strategic joint ventures with global operators Establishing Megamont as a credible concessionaire in domestic and international markets
Key Responsibilities

- Business Strategy & Market Entry Define and execute entry strategy into port concessions (India & global markets) Identify high-potential opportunities under DBFOT / BOT / PPP frameworks Align concession strategy with Megamonts cargo trading strengths

- Opportunity Evaluation & Bid Pipeline Build and manage a strong pipeline of: Greenfield and brownfield port projects Terminal concessions (bulk, container, liquid, multi-cargo) Evaluate feasibility based on: Cargo potential Financial returns Competitive landscape

- Joint Venture Structuring & Negotiation Lead JV formation with global operators such as
- DP World, PSA International, APM Terminals, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Structure JV ensuring: ~75% Megamont ownership/control Strong governance rights and board control Negotiate: Shareholding patterns Shareholders Agreement (SHA) Reserved matters and exit mechanisms

- Bid Strategy & Execution Lead complete lifecycle of bids: RFQ qualification RFP submission Technical proposal development Commercial bid structuring Negotiation & award closure Develop winning strategies for: Revenue share models Tariff structures Royalty frameworks Benchmark against competitors and design differentiation strategy

- Government & Regulatory Interface Build strong relationships with: Port Authorities Maritime Boards Ministries and regulatory bodies Ensure compliance with concession frameworks and bid requirements Represent Megamont in high-level government interactions

- Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Building Identify and onboard: EPC partners Logistics partners Technical consultants Leverage Megamonts cargo volumes and trading network to strengthen bid positioning

- Industry Experience 1525+ years in ports / maritime / infrastructure sector

- Concession & Bidding Experience Direct involvement in RFQ/RFP bidding processes Must have personally led or co-led and WON at least 12 port concessions

- JV Structuring & Negotiation Hands-on experience in: JV formation with global operators Shareholding structuring SHA and governance frameworks Must have independently negotiated JV terms
