The Opportunity
We are seeking several highly driven Strategic Partnerships Manager to lead the growth of EDGE Business by identifying, acquiring, and growing strategic business partnerships with mortgage brokerages, real estate agencies, financial advisory firms, wealth management businesses, developer sales organisations, and other corporate referral channels across the UAE.
Our mission is to enable ambitious mortgage professionals and businesses to grow faster, increase revenue, and deliver a better customer experience without the operational burden of running a traditional brokerage.
This is a high-impact role responsible for building a strong network of partner businesses that utilise EDGE as their mortgage aggregation platform. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to prospective partners, helping them understand how EDGE can support business growth, operational efficiency, and increased earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Acquisition & Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and secure partnership agreements with mortgage brokerages, real estate agencies, property developers, financial advisory firms, wealth management businesses, and other strategic referral organisations.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective EDGE Business partners.
- Develop enterprise-level partnership opportunities that generate scalable and recurring mortgage referral volumes.
- Engage directly with business owners, directors, senior leadership teams, and decision-makers to establish long-term commercial relationships.
- Structure commercial partnerships that drive mutual revenue growth and client acquisition opportunities.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and platform demonstrations with prospective businesses.
- Develop and execute strategic partnership acquisition plans.
- Drive new partner acquisition against monthly and quarterly targets.
Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact throughout the onboarding process.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with brokerage owners, agency directors, CEOs, managing partners, and senior decision-makers.
- Develop strategic account plans for key business partners to maximise mortgage volume, partner engagement, and revenue generation.
- Ensure partners understand the full value proposition of EDGE Business.
- Support partners in successfully launching and integrating with the platform.
Market Development
- Identify emerging opportunities within the mortgage and financial services market.
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights.
- Provide feedback to internal stakeholders regarding partner needs, market trends, and product enhancements.
- Represent EDGE at industry events, networking functions, and business development opportunities.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the EDGE & HOLO leadership team, Loan Progression team, Relationship Managers, and Operations teams.
- Coordinate partner onboarding and activation.
- Collaborate with marketing on partner acquisition campaigns and engagement initiatives.
Requirements
Essential
- 3+ years' experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or account management.
- Proven experience building and managing commercial relationships.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboarding.
- Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proven experience selling B2B solutions, partnership programmes, platforms, or financial services products to business clients.
- Experience managing strategic accounts and enterprise-level relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and negotiate commercial agreements.
Highly Desirable
- Experience within mortgages, banking, financial services, insurance, real estate, or fintech.
- Existing network within the UAE mortgage or financial advisory industry.
- Experience working with brokers, intermediaries, or referral networks.
- Familiarity with mortgage aggregation models or partner distribution channels.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 6 months, the successful candidate will have:
- Built a strong pipeline of prospective broker partners.
- Successfully onboarded multiple mortgage brokerages and advisory businesses onto EDGE.
- Established EDGE as a recognised platform within the independent mortgage community.
- Developed strategic partnerships that contribute meaningful mortgage volume and revenue growth.
