The Department of Financial Services is seeking candidates for the position of Data Analyst 3 in the Technology Bureau.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Collaborates directly with customers to support and deliver complex analytical projects; Performs detailed analysis and interpretation of data; Reviews data sources and evaluates reports prepared by staff to ensure accuracy and completeness; Oversees the development of informational materials and documentation related to analytics solutions; Evaluates current and proposed systems and processes, recommending improvements as needed; Supervises and provides guidance to a team of Data Analysts; Partners with the data warehouse team to ensure accurate data mapping that meets customer reporting requirements; Works with the Data Architect to develop strategies and direction aligned with the division’s strategic plan; Coordinates with the Data Governance team to maintain accuracy, consistency, and standardization across datasets; and Other duties as assigned.
