Hydro Aluminium Metal is a leading supplier of extrusion ingots, sheet ingots, foundry alloys, wire rods, and high-purity aluminium, with a global production network of around 6,000 employees. With primary metal production facilities in Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and Qatar, and recycling facilities throughout Europe and the U.S., two-thirds of our primary aluminium production is based on renewable energy.
We are looking for a curious, analytically sharp Market Analyst to join our Market Analysis team within Metal Sourcing & Trading (MST) at our Vækerø office in Oslo. If you are energised by the intersection of commodities, global economics, and world affairs, we would love to hear from you.
As part of MST, Hydro's hub for LME trading, hedging, and physical aluminium sourcing — you will develop deep expertise in aluminium markets, deliver analysis that informs decisions at the highest levels of the organisation, and build digital solutions that strengthen our analytical capabilities.
Our work is dynamic and evolving, so we are looking for someone who is adaptable, intellectually curious, and keen to contribute across a range of initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, gaining broad exposure to Hydro's operations.
