As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering complex business requirements, analyzing data, and contributing to the development and enhancement of regulatory reporting platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless system testing, documentation, and production support.
Job Duties
- Gather, analyze, and articulate complex business requirements clearly.
- Participate in report and platform development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Support system testing (SIT, UAT) and prepare technical/functional specifications and user guides.
- Resolve production incidents and provide Level 3 business support.
- Perform data analysis, modeling, and process automation.
- Design and develop software components for regulatory reporting platforms.
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements for software, hardware, and data storage.
- Contribute to architectural expertise and research emerging technologies to enhance system flexibility.
- Facilitate communication within the project team and stakeholders.
- Coordinate contributions to ensure timely project delivery.
- Escalate issues promptly to avoid delays and manage change processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Banking/Financial Industry, preferably in Finance, Risk, or IT, with exposure to regulatory/financial reporting.
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and database design skills (Oracle preferred).
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Shell scripting and modern web technologies.
- Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and DevOps/CI-CD environments.
- Familiarity with Alteryx workflows (ETL, macros, scheduling, version control).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (fluent English required).
- Knowledge of banking regulations (Basel III/IV, IFRS 9) or related compliance frameworks.
- Certifications: CFA, PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile/Scrum experience.
