Job Description
- Design, build and maintain end-to-end data solutions supporting actuarial and finance functions.
- Streamline, consolidate and enhance existing data workflows and processes.
- Perform data extraction, transformation and analysis to support business insights.
- Develop dashboards and reports for business and technical stakeholders.
- Support day-to-day data operations and resolve data quality or process issues.
- Collaborate with actuarial, finance and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Apply best practices in data management, automation and documentation.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree or higher qualification in quantitative disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics or Data Science.
- 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, data analyst or data scientist roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and automation.
- Exposure to Databricks, Power BI, Alteryx or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
- Solid analytical thinking with strong attention to data accuracy and detail.
- Prior knowledge or experience within the finance or insurance industry is a plus.
- Able to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
