On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager – Capital Markets for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Project Manager – Capital Markets - Job Description

The project involves the automation of IPV activities for Product Control. The successful candidate will manage daily SCRUMs, RAID logs, delivery dates, and Steering Committees within the Business Solutions & Initiatives U.S. sector.

Project Manager – Capital Markets - Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
• Build up technology cost estimates and finance cost estimates.
• Delegate duties and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Communicate with different stakeholders to build out the business case.
• Work on steering committee (executives) and operating committee.

Project Manager – Capital Markets - Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of experience working as a PM.
• 3+ years of experience with Capital Markets.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite apps (Excel, Visio, PPT).
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence.

Project Manager – Capital Markets – Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Clarity.
• MS Project.
• PMP Certification.
• CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification.
• CPA/MBA/CFA.

Project Manager – Capital Markets – Assignment Length

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.
