Senior Project Manager

Senior Project ManagerJoule Medical is not your typical medtech startup. We're developing the world's smallest, most intuitive, and most affordable AED, designed for use in private homes.

We're currently preparing for CE-marking under EU MDR Class III, and we're looking for a Senior Project Manager to help us deliver the final stretch - spanning development, verification, regulatory, industrialization, and the launch that follows.

In short: We're bringing a new category of consumer-focused AEDs to market, and we're getting close. We're currently a team of 18, and we're looking for the right person to make us 19 and help bring the product to launch.

You'll sit at the centre of the business, coordinating across hardware, software, usability, QA/RA, clinical, manufacturing, and a range of external partners. Your job will be to keep timelines, dependencies, and priorities aligned, ensuring the right conversations happen at the right time to keep the project moving.

You'll work closely with leadership, influence how we execute as a company, and help shape the systems and processes that will support our future growth.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in bringing a Class III medical device from development to market.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain and drive the integrated project plan across all workstreams
• Coordinate timelines, milestones, dependencies, and cross-functional activities
• Drive project follow-up and keep teams and stakeholders aligned
• Lead project reviews, status meetings, and reporting
• Support planning and execution around verification, validation, regulatory, and industrialization activities
• Track risks, critical-path items, and escalation points
• Help strengthen our project management processes, transparency, and execution discipline as we scale

• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with many stakeholders pulling at once
• Able to bring clarity, alignment, and momentum to a room
• Qualifications & experience5+ years of project or programme management experience
• A background in medical devices, medtech, pharma, or another regulated industry
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
• Experience working in cross-functional product development environments
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, MDR, and/or FDA-regulated development processes is preferred
• Experience with Smart
• Sheet is an advantage
• Experience from smaller or scaling organisations is an advantage
• Copenhagen-based
• The role is based at our office in Valby, Copenhagen.
• We value close day-to-day collaboration, so it’s primarily office-based, though there’s flexibility for remote work when it makes sense.
