Digital Marketing Coordinator (Parental Leave Cover) – The Local Europe, Stockholm
We're looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Stockholm-based team on a one-year parental leave cover, starting 1 September 2026. This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of our digital operations - and a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within a modern, international media company.
Reporting to the Head of Subscriptions, you'll split your time between two core areas: ad operations and subscription marketing. On the ad side, you'll handle campaign coordination, ad publishing in our CMS (WordPress), and reporting to our sales team. On the subscription side, you'll support marketing efforts across channels and markets to attract and retain subscribers.
The Local Europe (thelocal.com) is a digital news company serving international immigrants and expats across nine European markets. We help people navigate life in a new country - and our team reflects that same international spirit. Most of us work remotely, but this role is Stockholm-based with a hybrid setup: you'll come into the office a few days a week.
