M&A Associate

Hays are partnered with one of the world's most prestigious financial advisory firms, to identify a high-calibre M&A Associate for their office in Dubai. They are seeking driven professionals with a proven track record of delivering complex transactions from origination through to close.

The Associate will play an integral role in the full lifecycle of M&A mandates. You will work directly with senior bankers and clients, owning analytical workstreams, leading financial models, and presenting recommendations at the highest level. This is a client-facing, execution-driven position for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, deal-intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities Key Requirements

• Own and execute M&A mandates (full lifecycle)
• Lead financial modelling and valuation work across live transactions
• Prepare and present pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations, and board materials
• Coordinate legal, technical, and financial due diligence workstreams with external advisors
• Manage client relationships, data rooms, and counterparty interactions throughout live processes
• Apply AI-powered tools and data analytics to enhance research quality and workflow efficiency

Key Requirements

• 3–6 years of investment banking experience at a tier 1 bulge bracket or elite boutique
• Excellent academic record from a top University, MBA or CFA preferred
• Sector experience in one of more of; Infrastructure, Renewables, Energy, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Heavy Industrials, or TMT
• Full deal lifecycle experience across buy-side and sell-side mandates, with exceptional financial modelling skills
• Confident navigating AI-powered tools and applying them practically
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai or already based in the region
