ABOUT THE FIRM

You will join a long-established European mid-market private equity investor with approximately €2–3bn in assets under management. The firm focuses on long-term active ownership of resilient companies across industrials, business services and healthcare, with a strong emphasis on operational improvement and cross-border buy-and-build strategies.

Based in Amsterdam, this is an Analyst/Associate level opportunity within a partner-led investment structure.WHAT

THE JOB

INVOLVES

• Analyse European mid-market industries to identify attractive buyout and growth investment opportunities
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, supporting valuation, deal structuring and acquisition financing
• Support and progressively lead due diligence workstreams and coordinate advisers through negotiations to closing
• Contribute to investment theses and develop clear business cases combining strategic and financial analysis
• Take ownership of portfolio companies by supporting value creation initiatives, add-on acquisitions, performance monitoring and exit preparation

WHO WE ARE

LOOKING FOR

• Strong academic background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking or strategy consulting, ideally including internships
• Strong analytical skills with solid financial modelling capabilities and a commercial mindset
• Proactive, independent and collaborative working style in a small, high-performance environment
• Full professional fluency in Dutch and English
