Your Role

As an FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Student Analyst in Group Finance, you will support management reporting and analysis that drive decision-making for the Urban Partners management company, working closely with business stakeholders across the organisation. This role offers strong exposure to the business in a dynamic, international environment.

You will join a skilled FP&A team focused on delivering high-quality financial insights to support a scalable and growing platform. Your responsibilities will span both recurring reporting tasks and ad hoc analytical work, with increasing ownership as you build your understanding of the business.

• Key Responsibilities & Tasks
• Support month-end reporting to stakeholders via Power BI and PowerPoint, including materials for quarterly business reviews
• Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Deliver ad hoc analysis to support business leads, management, and board decision-making
• Contribute to the monthly close and business review process to ensure timely and accurate reporting We expect you to work on average about 10-20 hours per week with possibilities for extra hours, although with flexibility according to your study schedule as that needs to be prioritised as well.
• We expect you to start after the summer break in August or September, as per agreement.

• Curious and commercially minded, with a strong understanding of key business drivers and a proactive business partnering approach to stakeholder engagement.A proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach.
• Familiar with Excel and PowerPoint and with an Interest in exploring AI possibilities within the FP&A deliveries.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and business implications
• Confidence to challenge and improve existing processes
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) Prior FP&A experience is not required – you will develop core skills in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering as part of the role.
• Candidates are ideally in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree and about to begin a Master’s within a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Finance, Accounting, International Business or similar), with at least two years of studies remaining.
