The Role
Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis to support business performance and profitability.
Analyze sales, margins, expenses, and promotional effectiveness across channels, products, and stores.
Monitor inventory and logistics costs to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
Provide financial insights, KPI reporting, and investment analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements across the finance function.
- Your Skills Fluent Japanese and low business level English (reading and writing is more important)5+ years of FPA experience or Accounting experience (if candidate's only have accounting experience, then would need to have retail or FMCG industry experience)

- Given the lean size of the finance team, the Head of Finance is open to reallocating responsibilities to provide team members with exposure to different areas of finance based on their interests and development goals
