Harley Street Clinic For Women
An exciting opportunity to join our team at the Harley Street Centre For Women as an HCA/Junior Admin Assistant.
Your main role would be to assist our Professor of Fetal Medicine in entering measurement data on to our system whilst he is scanning our obstetric patients. A strong command of the English language, both written and spoken is required, also proficient typing skills, the use of Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail.
Whilst the Professor is scanning you will be inputting the data he calls out to you in order to generate a report. Prior to the clinic you will be expected to prepare the clinics in advance to allow the smooth transition of the patient through the Centre. The role currently is covered by one person but we require another team member to share the clinic workload.
You would be expected to cover each other for holidays/sickness.
Another part of your role would be as a junior admin assistant – helping prepare clinics for the consultants who see their patients here, answering emails and enquiries, making bookings and taking payments. In time this may well progress to a junior secretarial role when you take on secretarial support duties for a particular consultant.
The applicant has to be flexible – we run our days around the times the clinics are in session and you may work an early shift one day, 9-5, or a 10-6 or 12-8 depending on the practice demand. Total hours are 40 hours per week. You will be paid overtime should this be necessary.
We have just started offering a Saturday morning service and the successful applicant would be required to work 1 or 2 Saturdays per month as required. This would be paid as overtime or time in lieu.
The Clinic uses a the practice management system Semble so a knowledge of this would be an advantage. Phlebotomy skills would also be an advantage but a willingness to undergo phlebotomy training would be considered.
