Position Title: Paralegal / Legal Assistant

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join a highly respected litigation firm known for handling sophisticated, high-profile cases typically found at much larger firms. Working directly alongside accomplished trial attorneys, you will play a critical role in all phases of litigation, from discovery and court filings to trial preparation and case management.

Salary Range

$70,000 - $95,000 / Year DOE

Paralegal/ Legal Assistant Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and manage pleadings in State and Federal Courts
• Create and update Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Contents (TOC)
• Manage discovery processes, including document production and tracking
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations
• Draft and revise legal documents and correspondence
• Maintain case files and litigation calendars
• Coordinate court filings and service requirements
• Provide general litigation and trial preparation support

Paralegal/ Legal Assistant Requirements

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Experience filing in State and Federal Courts is required
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
• Experience preparing Tables of Authorities (TOAs) and Tables of Contents (TOCs)
• Experience from either plaintiff or defense is acceptable
• Proficiency in Microsoft products
• Civil litigation experience is preferred; general litigation experience is acceptable
• Knowledge of Westlaw, PACER, Adobe Acrobat, DISCO, Relativity or other eDiscovery platforms and general proficiency to learn various other software applications is preferred
• Trial experience is preferred but not required
• Paralegal Certificate is preferred
