Vice President People & Culture

To strengthen our global organization, Business Sweden is now recruiting a Vice President People & Culture who wants to lead and further develop our People & Culture function for the future.

As VP People & Culture, you will be responsible for managing and evolving Business Sweden’s global People & Culture function in a dynamic and international environment. You will work closely with the CEO, the Global Executive Management Team and leaders worldwide to ensure that People & Culture strategies, processes and tools effectively support our business goals.

The role combines strategic and operational responsibilities. You will lead the People & Culture organization consisting of 15 people of which two are direct reports, and secure a structured, efficient and agile People & Culture organization.

A key part of the role is to further develop Business Sweden’s people agenda, including leadership, talent management, employee experience and modern People & Culture processes supported by the right systems and data.

You report to the CEO, are a member of Business Sweden’s Global Executive Management Team and are based at our headquarters in the World Trade Center in Stockholm. The role includes some international travel.

• Background & Experience An academic degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Extensive experience from both operational and strategic People & Culture work, preferably in international organizations
• Documented leadership experience, including leading teams and driving change
• Experience of coaching senior leaders and acting as a strategic partner to management
• Experience from working with People & Culture in an international context and with culture in a multinational workforce
• Proven experience of creating and implementing People & Culture strategies, processes and tools
• Experience of maintaining and developing People & Culture systems and digital tools
• Experience from consulting businesses is an advantage
• Experience from working with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, spoken and written
