We are looking for a HR Generalist - Korea to support and manage day-to-day HR operations across the local market. This role plays an important part in ensuring efficient, compliant, and employee-focused HR practices while supporting the continued growth of Amouage in Korea.
Your MissionWorking closely with the General Manager, Global VP of Human Resources, and cross-functional teams, you will support a broad range of HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, payroll coordination, and compliance. As the local HR representative, you will ensure smooth HR operations while maintaining alignment with Amouage's global HR standards and policies.
Your Impact
- Manage day-to-day HR operations in Korea, including maintaining and updating employee records, personal files, and HR systems.
- Oversee accurate attendance, leave, and overtime tracking; coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including obtaining approvals, advertising, CV screening, scheduling and conducting interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
- Lead onboarding and orientation programs for new hires; prepare employment documentation and ensure a smooth integration experience.
- Draft and issue employment-related documents such as contracts, offer letters, confirmation letters, warnings, and HR memos in Korean and English.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll data submissions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries; handle general employee relations matters and escalate complex cases to the functional reporting manager as appropriate.
- Plan and coordinate employee workshops, training sessions, and internal HR events.
- Coordinate and support the performance appraisal cycle, including preparing templates, tracking completion, and following up with managers.
- Maintain and communicate HR policies and procedures; support updates to the employee handbook in Korean and English.
- Ensure compliance with Korean Labour Law and internal policies; maintain up-to-date statutory documentation and support HR reporting.
- Collaborate with the global HR team on shared initiatives, data reporting, and HR systems standardization.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in an HR role, with demonstrated exposure to multiple HR functions.
- Working knowledge of Korean Labour Law and HR practices.
- Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
