Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Singapore for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s operational functions, including logistics, supply chain management, procurement, order fulfillment, inventory control, and business operations support.
This role is critical in ensuring efficient coordination between internal departments, suppliers, distributors, logistics partners, and corporate clients to support business growth and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with solid experience in B2B operations, capable of driving process improvements, managing stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution across the supply chain and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Business Support
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
- Develop, implement, and improve operational processes, SOPs, and workflow efficiencies.
- Monitor operational KPIs and prepare operational, inventory, and sales-related reports for management review.
- Ensure operational compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support management in operational planning, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Order Fulfillment & Stakeholder Coordination
- Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment processes for local and overseas business partners, distributors, and corporate clients.
- Ensure accurate processing of sales orders, invoicing, shipment coordination, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate closely with sales, warehouse, finance, suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee shipment preparation, order tracking, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure proper preparation and management of machine activation codes and supporting operational documentation.
- Manage operational escalations and resolve issues relating to order fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain execution.
- Ensure proper documentation control and filing for finance, audit, and compliance purposes.
- Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Lead logistics and supply chain operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, import/export coordination, and distribution activities.
- Oversee preparation and accuracy of shipping and export documentation to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery.
- Liaise and negotiate with logistics service providers and freight forwarding companies to secure competitive shipping rates and service quality.
- Monitor warehouse inventory levels and stock movements to maintain inventory accuracy and operational readiness.
- Lead inventory audits, stock-taking exercises, and inventory control improvements.
- Identify opportunities to optimize logistics costs, operational efficiency, and supply chain performance.
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and external service partners.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure service quality, pricing competitiveness, and delivery reliability.
- Ensure procurement and purchasing activities are aligned with operational requirements and budget controls.
- Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve departmental objectives and operational excellence.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven work culture.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, warehouse, and regional stakeholders to support business operations.
- Drive effective communication and coordination across departments and external business partners.
- Manage and delegate operational projects and ad-hoc assignments effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or procurement management within a B2B environment.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of supply chain operations, inventory control, procurement processes, and import/export procedures.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
