About the Role
We’re hiring an Operations Manager to support and improve key back-office functions across the company. This person will help keep the business running smoothly behind the scenes by working across internal operations, documentation, compliance workflows, vendor coordination, contractor-related processes, and day-to-day execution.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to do well in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage parts of the company’s back-office operations, including internal admin, documentation, compliance workflows, contractor-related processes, and operational support
- Help execute recurring operational workflows accurately and on time
- Maintain clear records, checklists, trackers, and internal documentation
- Coordinate with vendors, platforms, service providers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Track operational issues, follow up on open items, and help resolve bottlenecks
- Improve existing workflows through better organization, templates, documentation, and lightweight process improvements
- Help ensure operational tasks are completed consistently and with strong attention to detail
- Support leadership on ambiguous operational projects and help turn them into clear next steps
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in operations, business operations, compliance operations, administrative operations, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage many moving pieces at once
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Experience supporting operational workflows from start to finish
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, internal tools, workflow platforms, and documentation systems
- Strong written communication skills
- Able to work independently and follow through reliably
- Good judgment around sensitive information, compliance, contractor data, and internal processes
- Willing to work fully in-office in San Francisco
- Willing to handle both structured recurring tasks and ambiguous one-off projects
