We are seeking an experienced international and cross-border tax professional to join our client in Singapore at Partner level. The successful candidate will lead international tax advisory delivery, own client origination and practice development, and act as the firm's senior technical authority on inbound and outbound structuring, treaty access and the BEPS 2.0 environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead international tax advisory engagements, including inbound and outbound structuring, holding-company location analysis and supply-chain reorganisations for multinational groups operating through Singapore.
- Advise on Pillar Two readiness under Singapore's Multinational Enterprise Top-up Tax and Domestic Top-up Tax regimes, effective from 2025, and assess GloBE compliance and provisioning implications for in-scope groups.
- Originate new client relationships and convert referrals into mandates, building a sustainable book of international tax work across the practice.
- Interpret and apply Singapore's double-tax agreement network, treaty-relief positions and withholding-tax obligations administered by IRAS.
- Oversee tax incentive applications and negotiations, including Pioneer and Development & Expansion Incentive (DEI) schemes, in conjunction with the Economic Development Board.
- Provide partner-level technical review and sign-off on complex advisory deliverables, opinions and ruling requests.
- Mentor directors, managers and associates, and contribute to the technical training and thought-leadership programme of the firm.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Chartered Accountant of Singapore (ISCA) or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP), or clear eligibility to attain accreditation.
- At least twelve years of corporate and international tax experience, with substantial time gained in a professional services firm.
- Deep working knowledge of the Singapore Income Tax Act, the 17% corporate tax rate and the headline incentive landscape.
- Demonstrable command of cross-border structuring, treaty interpretation and permanent-establishment analysis.
- Practical experience of Pillar Two modelling and the GloBE rules as adopted in Singapore.
- A proven record of client origination and the ability to develop and retain a fee base.
- Strong written advisory skills, with the ability to produce defensible technical opinions.
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills across boards, in-house tax functions and the tax authority.
- Right to work in Singapore, or eligibility to obtain the relevant work pass.
Preferred Experience
- Prior partner, director or principal experience within a Big Four or recognised mid-tier practice.
- Exposure to regional structuring across ASEAN and the wider Asia-Pacific.
- Experience advising fund managers, family offices or asset-holding structures domiciled in Singapore.
- Familiarity with transfer-pricing principles as they intersect with international structuring.
- A visible market profile, including published articles, speaking engagements or committee involvement.
- An established referral network among legal, banking and corporate-services intermediaries.
