Are you ready to take the next step within group accounting and grow into a key finance role in an international and technology driven organization? We are now looking for a Group Accountant who wants to combine strong accounting expertise with long-term development opportunities.

In this role, you will become an important part of the group finance function and work closely with the Head of Finance Control across the full group reporting and consolidation cycle. The position offers both hands-on operational responsibilities and the opportunity to gradually take on broader ownership within group accounting, with a clear development path towards a future Group Chief Accountant role.

Requirements

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant field.
• Several years of experience from qualified accounting roles, preferably within a group structure and international environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience working with group reporting and consolidation processes.A structured and analytical way of working, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Confidence in collaborating with different stakeholders across functions and countries, combined with strong communication skills.
• An interest in developing into a broader and more senior role within group accounting over time.
• Experience working with ERP systems, consolidation tools or financial reporting systems is considered an advantage.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the group.
• Managing the group consolidation process for subsidiaries and ensuring correct elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
• Supporting subsidiaries in accounting related and closing related matters while contributing to consistency and quality across the finance organization.
• Preparing, developing and improving group reporting packages and related financial reporting processes.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable IFRS standards and participating in the interpretation and implementation of new accounting regulations and principles.
• Acting as a key contact towards external auditors and supporting the group audit process.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, internal controls and financial systems.
• Acting as business owner for accounting related systems, including ERP, consolidation and balance reconciliation tools.
• Over time, taking increased responsibility for group accounting principles, external financial reporting quality assurance, and more complex accounting matters such as acquisitions and restructurings.
