Mission Responsible for overseeing General Accounting, closing and management/financial reporting under Group guideline for Louis Vuitton Japan KK and 1 group companiesMaintain strong internal controls over the financial reporting processMeet local and international requirements on accounting, tax and legal matters
Job responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and control closing procedures (monthly / quarterly / yearly) and ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and headquarters in liaison with BPC team
- Maintain properly the accounting system and ledgers including chart of accounts, accounting policies and procedures and control processes
- Prepare local statutory reporting Support the preparation of the tax return and ensure appropriate treatment and controls for tax reporting matters
- Supervise asset reconciliation processes to ensure integrity of reporting
- Review discrepancies analysis report of inventory
- Support of internal control reviews by LVM and LVMH KK Internal Audit teams
- Implement appropriate procedures to maintain and improve internal control systems and complete Group internal control reporting requirements
- Provide necessary data / information to external and internal auditors or tax auditors
- Maintenance and development of Business Continuity processes for Accounting team responsibilities
- Take charge in ad-hoc projects related to accounting flows, rules and systems
- Support and develop the team (3 members)
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Profile
Requirements
- University Degrees in Economic/Finance/Business major,
- CPA preferable
- Minimum 5-year accounting experience in multinational company or Big 4.
- Knowledge of IFRS/JGAAP and experience in accounting procedure in business are mandatory.
Experience in SAP is a plusVery good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills both written and verbalAbility to develop good work relationship with all other departments Team player, positive mindsetAbility to work under pressure and concurrently manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projectsFluent Japanese skills (N1: Level )with business level English skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
