As Receptionist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring an exceptional experience from the moment they enter the hotel;Manage check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process;Respond to guest inquiries professionally, providing information about hotel services and recommending local activities;Coordinate with other departments (concierge, room service, dining) to meet guest needs in a personalized and efficient manner;Ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals by closely working with housekeeping and maintenance teams;Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly with discretion and courtesy, ensuring satisfaction;Perform billing operations, manage payments, and ensure transactions are accurately recorded;Maintain a clean and organized reception area while ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff;Ensure luxury service standards are upheld, paying close attention to detail and quality of Mandarin Oriental standards.

As Receptionist We Expect From YouA minimum of two years’ experience as a Receptionist, preferably in a luxury setting;Flexibility and resilience - your position will include weekend, holiday and night shifts; Proficiency in the English language.
Proficiency in Dutch is a plus;Eye for detail, drive to success and a supportive attitude;A strong sense of responsibility: always follows up, is accurate and knows how to deliver exceptional and personalised service;Excellent written and verbal communication skills – approachable and professional in handling both guest complaints and positive feedback;Strong team player with excellent organizational and time management skills;Excellent presentation;Excellent interpersonal skills and a taste for customer contact.
