We're placing an Customer Success Specialist for a specialty chemical raw materials distributor in WNY. This isn't a call center job. It's a role where you own your orders start to finish, from entry through delivery, across the entire order lifecycle and you're the point of contact the whole way through.
What you'll do
- Manage the full order lifecycle for a portfolio of accounts — entry, tracking, status updates, and problem-solving when things shift
- Monitor a shared inbox and triage incoming orders, customer inquiries, and internal flags Coordinate with operations and purchasing when timelines change, and communicate proactively with customers Keep things organized across a high volume of open orders at any given time
What we're looking for
- Background in distribution, order management, or customer service in a product-based environment Strong written communication — most of the work is email-based, not phone-heavy Someone who can structure their own day and knows the difference between urgent and important ERP or order management system experience helpful; specific platform doesn't matter Business-minded — this company is growing and wants people who want to grow with it
