Job Description

Complete Care Community Health Center (CCCHC) is a growing Los Angeles County Health Care Center with Clinic locations throughout the area. We are seeking an experienced Patient Appointment Scheduler to work out of our growing Culver City administrative office, in our call center.

A Patient Appointment Scheduler’s role is to schedule patient’s visits, tests and procedures; answer all patient questions answering all incoming calls in a timely manner and directing the caller to the appropriate destination while providing a smooth, clear and professional communication practice.

The successful candidate will have a willingness to work closely with patients, physicians, and other member of the health care team. Must be professional, detail-oriented, have exceptional phone skills and be able to handle a very fast-paced environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with scheduling Medical appointments.
• Answers telephone in pleasant manner and deals with customer needs expeditiously.
• Responds to email and text inquiries from internal and external sources.
• Provides any necessary and related instructions/directions.
• Updates patient information as necessary.
• Maintains patient confidentiality with all patient information.
• Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.
• Perform all other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager

Qualifications

• EHR experience, NextGen (Preferred)
• Must be familiar with medical terminology
• Bi-lingual is strongly preferred (Spanish/English)
• Must have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Must be organized
• Must have strong computer skills
• Must be able to handle a high call volume; call center experience is a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Must be a hard-working and self sufficient
• Have the ability to problem solve
• Demonstrate Empathy with callers

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
