Supervise daily warehouse operations, including pick & pack, shipping, receiving, inventory, production support, and internal transfers, ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy, and productivity targets are consistently met.
Act as the primary operational leader and escalation point between warehouse staff, customer care, production, supply chain, transportation providers, and other internal departments.
Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, and organization of incoming goods, ensuring compliance with company standards and quality requirements.
Manage and coordinate all customer care shipping activities in the warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, proper packaging standards, carrier selection, and timely dispatch to meet delivery commitments and service level expectations.
Plan, coordinate, and validate stock transfers between all warehouse locations within the Surgmed Group to optimize inventory balance and space utilization.
Manage transportation logistics, customs documentation, carrier performance, and resolve escalated shipping issues.
Supervise and approve cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely inventory reconciliation and reporting accuracy.
Monitor warehouse layout and pallet optimization strategies to maximize space utilization and operational flow.
Assign and prioritize urgent and time-sensitive orders, ensuring on-time fulfillment and service level adherence.
Generate, review, and analyze reports related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment performance, productivity, and operational KPIs, escalating issues where necessary.
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards; conduct regular safety audits, enforce safe work practices, and lead incident investigations.
Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff on operational procedures, equipment usage, safety practices, and performance expectations.
Identify inefficiencies in warehouse processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
Coordinate workforce scheduling and task allocation to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
Oversee the procurement of warehouse supplies, tools, and furniture, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, proper inventory control of consumables, and timely replenishment to support uninterrupted warehouse operations.
Support recruitment onboarding and performance management of warehouse staff in collaboration with HR and Supply Chain Manager.
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role (mandatory).
Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered (minimum experience requirement still applies).
Proven ability to supervise, train, and manage warehouse staff in a fast-paced operational environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, including cycle counting, discrepancy resolution, FIFO/FEFO, and stock accuracy management.
Hands-on, daily operational experience using ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) is mandatory.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License in good standing (mandatory).
Reliable access to a vehicle for inter-site travel (mandatory).
Valid forklift certification in good standing (mandatory).
Ability to safely lift up to 25 kg and perform physical warehouse duties as required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational accountability and continuous improvement.
