The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll sit at the centre of the growth engine, responsible for generating high-quality pipeline and engaging senior decision-makers across enterprise and mid-market accounts.
You’ll partner closely with Business Development Managers while gaining exposure to enterprise sales, developing skills across discovery, stakeholder mapping, and deal progression.
This role blends hands-on outbound execution with designing and optimising AI-driven prospecting workflows, making it ideal for someone eager to work at the intersection of sales and AI innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- AI & Process Optimisation
- Design, test, and scale AI-powered prospecting workflows
- Continuously improve outreach efficiency and conversion rates
- Turn insights into structured playbooks and best practices
- Pipeline Generation
- Execute targeted outbound strategies across enterprise and mid-market accounts in Italy
- Engage key stakeholders across HR, L&D, and Procurement functions
- Combine AI-led outreach with personalised, high-impact engagement (including cold calling)
- Convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities
- Own the full SDR lifecycle: prospecting → qualification → demo booking
- Collaboration & Insights
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to refine messaging
- Track activity and performance in CRM systems to inform strategy
- Provide data-driven insights to improve conversion and pipeline quality
- What We’re Looking For1–2+ years in a sales / commercial / SDR role (ideally SaaS, EdTech, or HRTech)
- Proven ability to build outbound pipeline and engage decision-makers
- Comfortable with cold calling and multi-channel outreach
- Strong interest in and exposure to AI tools / automation (AI-native mindset)
- Analytical and data-driven approach to performance
- Ambitious, proactive, and motivated by growth and progression
- Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Lusha (desirable)
