About the Team
- The Platform Account Development team drives adoption and growth of the companyrsquo;s Commerce Platform across our SMB restaurant segment (le;150 locations).
- We partner closely with Account Management to understand each merchantrsquo;s first-party growth goals and activate the right mix of Commerce Platform solutions - including Online Ordering to accelerate their success.
- Our mission is to enable every SMB merchant with the tools to grow first party sales, deliver a unique guest experience, and save on costs in order to have a thriving business.
About the Role
- As a Strategic Sales Development Representative, you will support our Platform team ndash; which focuses on helping merchants adopt companyrsquo;s Platform solutions, such as Online Ordering and other growth products.
- In this role, yoursquo;ll own the early stages of the sales motion ndash; engaging merchants through high-volume, targeted outreach to uncover needs, identify decision makers, and qualify interest in additional products.
- Yoursquo;ll work closely with Account Development partners to generate and advance pipeline, ensuring opportunities are clearly scoped and positioned for deeper sales engagement.
- Yoursquo;ll engage both new and existing merchants with a thoughtful, consultative approach, tailoring outreach based on merchant context and solution fit.
- Your work will play a key role in supporting merchant growth by connecting partners with products designed to expand their relationship with company beyond the marketplace.
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced conversations, brings discipline and creativity to their outreach, and is excited to develop strong solution-selling fundamentals.
- We expect this role to be flexible and will travel as needed for in-person collaboration through trainings, offsites, team-building events, and other business-related necessity.

- Identify, engage, and qualify high-potential merchants and key decision makers across your assigned accounts.
- Conduct high-volume outbound outreach through calls (65+ per day), email, and other channels to surface interest in additional Company solutions.
- Partner closely with Account Development teammates to advance qualified opportunities and move expansion efforts forward.
- Tailor messaging and discovery based on merchant needs, context, and solution fit.
- Strengthen your skills in consultative discovery, value-based storytelling, and opportunity qualification.
- Gain exposure to solution-selling and account development motions that support merchant growth beyond the marketplace.
We#39;re excited about you because you have
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume outbound outreach or sales development.
- A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding activity and performance goals (daily, weekly, or monthly).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage merchants in thoughtful conversations.
- A proactive, self-directed approach to problem solving and managing your work.
- Creativity in outreach and messaging that sparks interest and opens doors.
- The ability to help merchants understand the value additional companyrsquo;s solutions can bring to their business.
- Comfort navigating sales processes and tools in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn quickly, adapt to change, and incorporate feedback to improve performance.
