We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will prospect and qualify potential customers for the Vimeo Sales team, building trust and rapport that result in qualified opportunities. The Sales Development Representative is the first point of contact between prospective customers and Vimeo and will be responsible for generating and qualifying new prospects.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for determining potential opportunities for new business and can rapidly qualify, convert, and assign those conversations. Location:
This role is based in Sydney. The role is Hybrid, with 1 day/week in the office, 4 days/week at home. What you’ll do:

- Schedule high-quality meetings with prospective customers for the sales team
- Work to meet and exceed monthly goals defined to maximize deal flow with outbound emails, calls, setting up meetings, etc.
- Speaking to value and return on investment vs. technical functionality Learning how to anticipate and prepare for objections
- Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization
- Managing a high volume of inbound leads with a strategy on prioritization of your leads
- Researching and understanding various lines of business and personas

Skills and knowledge you should possess:2+ years of work experience. Preferably in market research, lead generation, marketing, or sales, ideally within SaaS businessesProven track record of success with a sales cycleExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Have an outgoing personality and the ability to hold an engaging conversation or write an attention-grabbing email.
