The Account Manager is responsible for driving sustainable business growth through strategic account management, channel sales leadership, and new business development initiatives. This role manages and develops strong relationships with distributors, operators, business partners, and key stakeholders to enhance customer experience and secure long-term contract retention.
The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of sales strategies, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and oversee the implementation of commercial projects. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams including marketing, finance, operations, and technical functions to ensure alignment and delivery of business objectives, while maintaining full compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline and brings at least 10 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, channel management, or business development. They possess strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and proven experience in managing external partners and resolving complex channel challenges.
Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin are essential, alongside strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities. The candidate should demonstrate solid project management capability, analytical skills, and a proactive mindset in identifying and executing new business opportunities, coupled with a positive attitude, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
