Client Success Manager (APAC)
Job Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for driving and overseeing the sales objectives and aligning global initiatives of the organization. They will also be recommending products or service enhancements to prospective or existing clients.
The candidate will be a valuable team member as he or she will also be able to use their network to search for prospective clients for the firm and be the first contact point for clients in the region.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance and growth of private equity fund clients for the firm
- Approach clients proactively to establish underlying needs, understand clients and theirrequirements, and to sell services provided by the firm
- Implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s client base and ensure its strong presence
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories
- Achieve growth, hit sales targets and actively manage sales program
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of related products and competition status
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting client relationships by visiting clients periodically and understanding their needs
- Participate in project implementation discussions with the product team to further define detailed services model for specific clients and the project timeline
- Work closely with marketing and AFS teams to support clients
- Provide weekly report update for the sales activities
- Maintain data relative to client accounts and activities and documenting client interactions
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in a client facing role in sales/marketing/business development from a relevant industry, experience in the Finance, Fund-Administration or FinTech sectors are highly regarded
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration or Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
- Experience in fund operations or relationship management is a plus
- Strategic thinker, results-oriented with an analytical mind
- Strong business acumen, good leadership and project management skills
- Pro-active self-starter, fast learner, open-minded with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Able to work under pressure and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- High integrity and accountability for proposing solutions, time management and reporting back to management in a timely manner
- Other Skills Well versed in the private equity sector or auditing in asset management or fund administration.
- Results oriented and ability to multitask and manage high volumes of priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong client focus and have high sensitivity for quality and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with multi-tasking capabilities.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Excel and other windows-based software.
- Experience with fund accounting and alternative investments software solutions (E-front, Investran) is highly advantageous
