One of our clients is looking for Senior Sales Manager for Hong Kong / Singapore / Dubai (Flexible)
The Senior Sales Manager – Far East Region will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies across multiple channels, including distributors, retailers, travel retail, duty-free and key account customers.
The role requires strong business development capabilities, strategic account management, and leadership in driving profitable growth across the Far East markets
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify, evaluate, and appoint new distributors, agents, and strategic partners across Far East markets.
- Expand market penetration through new customer acquisition and channel development.
- Manage and grow existing key accounts while ensuring long-term business relationships.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements
Channel Management
- Manage multiple sales channels including:
o Distributors
o Retail chains
o Department stores
o Travel retail and duty-free operators
o Specialty beauty and fragrance retailers
- Develop channel-specific growth strategies and promotional plans.
- Ensure alignment between distributors and company objectives.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, consumer preferences, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide regular market intelligence and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Participate in annual business planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Identify new product opportunities and regional market requirements.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, distributors, retailers, and business partners.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations with partners.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product development, supply chain, finance, and operations teams.
- Support product launches, promotional activities, trade exhibitions, and industry events.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management.
- Monitor KPIs, market share growth, profitability, and distributor performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
- MBA or advanced business qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 8–12 years of sales and business development experience.
- At least 5 years of regional sales management experience within:
o Fragrances
o Cosmetics
o Beauty products
o Luxury-Lifestyle goods
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and managing regional distribution networks.
- Strong understanding of Far East and Asia-Pacific markets.
- Experience managing distributors, retailers, and key accounts across multiple countries.
