Senior Project Manager Hospitality

I’m currently working with an international consultancy that has been appointed on a large scale luxury hospitality development in a remote location within the Middle East.

This is a senior level position where you will take ownership of a high profile project from the client side, overseeing delivery through the construction phase through to handover.

We need somebody with proven experience managing the construction delivery of 5 star hospitality projects. This is non negotiable for the position due to the complexity of the development, operator standards and level of coordination required on site.

The project itself is genuinely unique and will involve close coordination with international hotel operators, consultants, contractors and client representatives to ensure the project is delivered to the highest possible standard.

Due to the nature of the role, you must be willing to travel extensively and work in remote locations for periods of time.

This position would suit somebody who enjoys being heavily involved in site operations, problem solving and managing complex projects in challenging environments.

You will be joining a well established PMC with an excellent reputation for delivering landmark hospitality and mixed use developments across the region.

The Role

• Lead the construction phase delivery of a luxury hospitality development
• Manage contractors, consultants and specialist subcontractors on site
• Act as the key point of contact between client, operator and delivery teams
• Oversee programme, quality and project execution on site
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with international hospitality standards
• Drive progress whilst maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
• Report directly into senior leadership and client representatives

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering 5 star hospitality projects through construction phase
• Background working for a PMC, developer or leading consultancy
• Strong site based project management and construction delivery experience
• Experience working on remote or logistically challenging projects is highly advantageous
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in remote locations is essential
• Strong client facing and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage high pressure project environments
• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related fieldSalary up to 50,000 AED with food/accommodation paid if you work on site.
