What To ExpectAt Tesla, our Design and Construction Project Management teams build iconic facilities - showrooms, service centers, delivery hubs, bodyshops, and distribution centers that embody innovation and sustainability. As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead projects from concept to completion, either focused on design or construction, working alongside top talent to advance Tesla’s mission.
You’ll serve as the primary driver for each project, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless execution, adherence to budget and schedule, and delivery of high-quality results that support Tesla’s global growth and commitment to sustainable energy.
What You'll Do
- Organize and manage a Due Diligence on locations with Design Team to perform full audit of existing site , to include HVAC, Electrical, Drainage, Health & Safety, Flooring Conditions.
- Review all drawings with relevant parties at multiple stages of the project to ensure design feasibility, budget allocation, and time impact schedule.
- Create, present and adjust a CAPEX budget for all projects and manage and track CAPEX budget thru-out the lifecycle of a project.
- Coordinates with Procurement to arranges Bid Walks and Tendering Schedule and manage all RFI’s and perform a “Page Turn” with short listed bidder.
- Ensures all project documents are collected for the project and keeps a log indicating such.
- Documents to include but not limited to: Site Directory, EHS required docs, Change Order of Record Logs, 2 weeks look ahead, etc.
- Oversee project coordination, including regular meetings with stakeholders and the General Contractor, and manage payment approvals and close-out documentation.
- Ensure all owner-provided items are ordered and that Facility Maintenance receives necessary documents for post-opening site management.
What You'll Bring
- B.Sc. in Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience with proven expertise).
- Strong track record in managing complex projects, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams across the full project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in REVIT, CAD, BIM360, and Microsoft tools (Office, Project, SharePoint).
- Experience in budgeting, procurement, change order management, and financial reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- High energy, fast-paced environment readiness, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in English and a Nordic languages preferred, with willingness to travel., Tesla
