Program Manager
- We are looking for an experienced AS400 Project Manager to drive and govern the migration of AS400 data centre infrastructure.
- The role will be responsible for end-to-end coordination across Business, Application, and Infrastructure teams, ensuring seamless execution with minimized business risks and service disruptions.
Required Technical Skill Set
- 8+ years of IT experience with strong Project/Program Management background
- Hands-on exposure to AS400 / IBM i environment
- Proven experience in data centre migration / infrastructure transformation projects
- Strong stakeholder management across Business and Technical teams
- Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills
Desired competencies/ Roles and responsibilities
Project & Migration Management
- Lead and manage the AS400 data centre migration program, ensuring delivery within timelines and quality standards
- Track and govern migration of AS400 servers, applications, and dependencies
- Define detailed migration plans, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the single point of coordination between:
- Business stakeholders
- Infrastructure teams
- Application teams
- Drive alignment across multiple functions and ensure clear communication
Risk & Impact Management
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage business and operational risks during migration
- Conduct impact analysis on dependent business processes and systems
- Ensure proper contingency planning and rollback strategies
Infrastructure & Technical Coordination
- Work closely with Infra/DC teams on:
- Data centre migration strategy
- Environment readiness
- Cutover planning and execution
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards
Governance & Reporting
- Provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies through proper governance forums
- Ensure adherence to delivery processes and compliance requirements
Good to have
- Experience in BFSI domain (preferably Insurance)
- Knowledge of RDC migration initiatives
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise transformation programs
