About Our Client
Our client is a fast‑growing consumer technology company famous for its award‑winning system blends hardware, software, and engaging content to create fun, social, and meaningful experiences. With the business growth, they are looking for a Technical Program Manager overseeing the long-term product management from mass production to GTM.
Job Description
- Oversee the long‑term support and optimisation of a consumer hardware product throughout mass production.
- Manage product variants, regional customisation, compliance readiness, and packaging updates for multiple global markets.
- Coordinate issue resolution across engineering, operations, quality, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure timely and effective problem closure.
- Lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and manufacturability, using structured root‑cause analysis and improvement frameworks.
- Own the execution of engineering change processes, including evaluation criteria, test requirements, milestone tracking, and production cut‑ins.
- Prepare manufacturing partners for production ramps by aligning capacity, test coverage, build readiness, and process maturity.
- Maintain clear visibility into program progress through KPIs, dashboards, and weekly operational reporting.
- Keep documentation up to date across specifications, test plans, change orders, and operational guidelines to support onboarding and audit needs.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- 5+ years of program or technical program management experience in consumer hardware - e.g., smart devices, IoT, wearables, or similar imaging hardware product categories.
- .Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, materials, and manufacturing engineering principles
- Proven experience working with ODM/JDM manufacturing models and managing external development partners.
- Familiarity with SKU governance, regional product customisation, packaging workflows, and change management processes.
- Experience coordinating safety and regulatory compliance efforts with testing labs or certification bodies.
- Strong communication, organisation, and cross‑functional leadership skills, especially in fast‑moving or complex environments.
- Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
